Charts of the month (July)

Data visualizations that rip

Hey there,

Last Tuesday of the month. Crazy how fast that keeps happening!

Here’s our 6th edition of ‘Charts of the Month,’ avail to plus supporters only. 30 charts enclosed — enjoy.

For those of you who are newer here and are curious what this is all about, this is a monthly newsletter in which we go ‘magpie’ mode and curate our favorite data visualizations from all the nooks and crannies where we do research.

Something more people should know is that the average temperature increase figure often cited for global warming is for the entire world and includes the land and oceans. Temps are already +2.29°C higher than preindustrial averages in the Northern Hemisphere if you look only at land (where, you know, people live).
